Von Bontee, Dingle LadI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Been really getting into The Pogues over the past couple of days. Great mixture of a punky spirit with Celtic music.

I’m currently making my way through OK MiniDisc, 18 MiniDiscs put together by Thom Yorke for reference during the OK Computer sessions that were leaked online last year, and were later made available for a short time for free streaming and paid download (money going to Extinction Rebellion) on their official site; over 16 hours of demos, rehearsals, outtakes, and live performances.

No problem at all, Bebu!
Generally they sounded original and I was expecting nothing less so it was very nice. They’re sonic evolution is uncanny and I love most of their detours into electronics, which I’m very much into. I still have to re-listen a lot but yeah In Rainbows was the most solid. I even though Pablo Honey was actually good.
Although as of now, I’m a little overwhelmed by the reputation of OK Computer and Kid A. Those albums are solid 8/10 for me but I’m not into that whole idea that they’re the best albums ever and such but I guess I’ll see if they grow on me. Still there are some fantastic songs throughout the whole thing.
I wondered if there could be a better record in 1997 but in my experience Ladies and Gentlemen is still the best of that year

Yep, Donovan’s song is the source for both “Mountain Jam” and also some Grateful Dead thing, did it on “Anthem of the Sun” and probly live too, but I’m not the most knowledgeable (or huge) Dead fan.
