Jules, Dingle Lad, BeatlebugI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

My question to you guys is, “Would you knowingly buy a counterfeit box set if it falls in your lap?” Before you judge me too harshly, just know I have every one of these albums individually. I also have a couple of these on their original Sony CDs as well. I also have the Shine On box. By the way I have a Beatles Stereo counterfeit box as well and bought it for the expressed reason it is counterfeit.

“Cloudy” by Simon & Garfunkel on repeat
and probably George Harrison next. It seems to be one of those days.

I wish @Beatlebug, it’s 90d in the shade here. Maybe if I close my eyes and dream…
Loved your Rain Song during an actual storm. I thought the backdoor was going to fly open at any moment and wondered if you would just keep on playing.

In which 60s jazz organ veteran (“Bitches Brew” etc) exchanges his Hammond for a buncha Arps and Moogs and joins the lucrative funk ‘n fusion parade, even incorporating occasional vocals. Some of it is more successful than the rest, but it’s all enjoyable. “New York Electric Street Music” is a killer track.

Released on this day in 1968 , Nick Mason’s favorite Pink Floyd album –
A Saucerful Of Secrets
I can particularly recommend “Remember A Day” and “See-Saw” for treetop sitting listening purposes.

As for what I’ve been listening to today…Don’t ask, but for some bizarre reason I have been listening to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly and very little else these past 24 hours. I never ever listen to hip-hop or rap, but I just heard its praises sung one too many times and I had to check it out…and now I get why everyone went nuts over it. I’ll probably be over with this phase by tomorrow, but it’s been an interesting time. Currently happen to be listening to “Hood Politics”.

This week’s on-repeat album: “Jet Set Radio Future – Complete Soundtrack”
Absolutely killer soundtrack. Instantly recognizable, and incredibly replayable. Not many soundtracks have the privilege of being able to be evoke musical sensations to those unfamiliar to the product attached, and this is certainly one of them. It’s a shame that there aren’t any other games from the same franchise, aside from it’s prequel, “Jet Set Radio”.
Highlights for me: “Concept of Love”, “Funky Dealer”, “Aisle 10”, “Teknopathic”, “Rock It On” and “Sneakman”.
Side note: Sega, why?
We do a little trolling
