I like that “Mr. Soul” song Sun King . I've never heard of it before now and the first thing that popped into my head was that the riff is very similar to the Rolling Stones' song “Satisfaction”. Both good song nonetheless.

Offline PennyLane, I was waiting to say it sounds like Staisfaction. I remember in about November, I was returning from downtown Ottawa, listening to our local classic rock station, where they played Mr. Soul. I completely thought it was Satisfaction, but it was so funny seeing my mom’s face when I asked if it was. The funny thing is, as I entered the car the next morning, the first song I hear? (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction. But yes, both good songs none the less.

Calico Skies
I'm doing the weirdest thing ever. I'm reading a Reader's Digest version of Immortal Lovers, the story of Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning, and when I listen or read an excerpt of their letters, I look for an appropiate song.
I played Wrote a Song for Everyone after I read how Browning got impressed with Barrett's poems against slavery and child work. When Barrett wrote Browning before their meeting, that of “If my poetry is worth anything to any eye, it is the flower of me. The rest of me is nothing but a root, fit for the ground and in the dark” I listened to U2's Stay. In their first meeting I listened to Something and now after reading about their wedding I'm listening to Calico Skies.
Of course I haven't forgotten about John and Yoko's songs, I'll listen to them when I get an appropiate copy of this book, not this crappy condensed version. 
I just adore reading love letters. One of my favorite books is Dear Writer Dear Actress, the love letters from Anton Chekhov and Olga Knipper.
