The Velvet Underground & Nico. I’ve neglected my love for the Velvets for too long, so I’ve been listening to this album obsessively for a few hours.

The following people thank QuarryMan for this post:

Von Bontee, lovelyritametermaid, Jules, Dingle Lad, Vera Chuck and Dave

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Yo @QuarryMan I know it’s off topic but now that you’re here, haven’t you thought of fixing your signature? It might just be my interface but whenever you write a paragraph longer than the blank space the text mushes with your signature and it’s hard to read, have you noticed?

Incidentally, I was kinda hoping you’d maybe rethink your own, or spoiler it maybe? We do have some young posters occasionally…

My damn signature is hella tight, you trippin.

Jk

I dunno. I could think of another one but I wasn’t planning on changing it soon. Is it because it’s vulgar? because I don’t want to put anything very pretentious either. Not that yours or anybody else is to a big extent but just saying, I like how out of place mine looks, I think it’s a lil bit funny. But sure, I’ll see what I can do.george-martin

Ya, it doesn’t happen as often as it used to, but listening to the Velvets is usually a 3 hour affair.

David Bowie – 1. Outside (1995)

An odd album, but I haven’t heard it in a while and I need my 90’s Bowie fix

Currently enjoying:

You’ve probably not heard of them (they’re not really a huge group), though I have brought them up before, albeit in passing. But, I do recommend you check them out; they’ve got a great sound, and a lot of great tunes. This is one of my favourites of theirs.heart

More specifically disc 2, which is a virtual greatest hits of her 12″ mixes. You may not like disco, but you can’t deny the art and craftmanship that went into these songs

Maybe just censor the word itself. It’s not against the rules to swear as far as I’m aware, but as Vb said, there are youngsters on the forum. I’m not sure why my signature does that sometimes, I’ll try fixing it. I’m thinking of switching my avatar for a while anyway so I guess I could get rid of the bottom line of it.
