It’s called “Mo” and was written for Mo Ostin, head of Warner Brothers, who must’ve done something spectacular to warrant such a beautiful tribute on the occasion of his 50th birthday. It’s the purest condensation of Harrison sunshine imaginable.

Yes, Full Moon Craze is a strong cut. All I can add is I wish it were longer It creates a similar pleasant mind excursion like I get from this old Youngblood’s song Josiane.

Oh the irony… when I mixed it, I edited out about 35 seconds!

Ooo, I liked that one a lot – a lovely groove that one, nice and relaxing

I actually loaded just the three outtake folders. I redid the tagging, file names and folder structures after I bought the files from HD Tracks. I do own the physical copies of all three but only the remixes are available on the Blu-ray. Plus the mono White Album . I fell asleep quite early into it. LOL

After listening to TDSOTM three times today, I watched the new SNL where John Mulaney hosted and David Byrne was the musical guest, which reminded me of how I haven’t listened to The Talking Heads lately so here we are…The Talking Heads– Talking Heads: 77 (1977)
Talking Heads! My dad’s favorite band, and one of my favorites as well. I saw John Mulaney’s open, but still need to check out David Byrne’s performance. Come to think of it, I should also listen to DSOTM one of these days.
Speaking of John Mulaney…I don’t know where else to put this story, but I have been just a few feet away from the man before. I don’t want to get into it here in case I derail this thread, but I would like to share it somewhere. Any ideas? The “Incredibly impossible to derail this thread” thread, perhaps?

I totally forgot you said that and I happened across it on YouTube and was so surprised and pleased to see Mr Byrne make an appearance. Talking Heads are one of my best friend’s favorite bands.

SCHWARZEWOLKE – Full Moon Craze
Wot? Never heard of em.
I’ve been listening to that ongoing chronological Sun Ra playlist and nothing else* since I last posted here over a week ago; so far it’s chronicled 12 years (thru 1966) and is 28 hours long (and counting!) Right now it’s this landmark from 1965. Paul recieved a copy from the Indica Bookstore in 1966, and I wish I knew what his reaction was…
(*with a few brief side forays into the catalogs of Wanda Jackson, Led Zep, Bikini Kill and the Beatles at Star Club (thanks RN)

Hey VB, that’s Holey’s band. Here is the link to Full Moon Craze from their latest:

Wow, your head must be in the clouds after a week with Sun Ra and company. I had never heard about Paul’s exposure to the group. I’m going to peak around the internet a bit on that one. After tomorrow I have the house to myself for the rest of the week, so I’ll be able to blast some of the playlist. I’m ready for some tripped-out sounds.
I can’t find the Led Zep write up I did a couple years ago, so I need to redo it. A couple of surprises at that concert so it’s not something I’m going to forget. Time to walk pups so better put my hoodie on:
