@Elementary Penguin , your listening pleasure this week has me digging through boxes of LPs and CDs to get my Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn and Jones Ltd collection in proper order.
That is good to know.
I am enjoying delving into the solo stuff.
There is a lot of good stuff that not a lot of people know about.
I am currently listening to Harry Nilsson’s “The Point” – Original Cast Recording. It has Micky and Davy on it.
Me and my arrow…
My brother loved the original tv movie (narrated by Dustin Hoffman) and soundtrack. He was seriously obsessed and listened to it every day. Nilsson sang like an angel. It appears that Ringo replaced Dustin as the narrater when it was released on video. I had no idea that it was made into a play (or Mickey and Davy were involved – I don’t think they ever paired up as a duo). Definitely going to check that out (my brother will be all over it).

Currently listening to Derek and the Dominos’ Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs. Still tangentially related to George, is it not?

I love Me and My Arrow. I think I’ll name my dog Arrow, if I ever get one.
I’m currently listening to one of my favourite albums, a great little shoegaze-y dream pop set from Japan.

lovelyritametermaid, sigh butterfly, Von BonteeI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Wow, that is pretty intense. Reminds me a little of a Neil Young and Crazy Horse jam. I smiled when I saw how serene they look enjoying their tea.
I agree, I wish I would have thought to name my dog Arrow.

‘Soft-Hearted Hana’ is one of those songs that would drag you back to an album continuously even if there was nothing else on it to at first make you want to. Tho ‘George Harrison ‘ is such a strong album that isn’t an issue here.
