I need to listen to this, my friend played ‘Higgs-Boson Blues’ on his radio station the other week and I’ve liked it since.

Funny you should say that, for my current listening is, in honor of its 49th 48th actually, I can’t math release-anniversary:

I sometimes would ask my father if this is how he felt about caring for me as a baby, and he would almost always call me “old”. I would often retort that it’s not “old”, but “timeless” quite childishly, before we would discuss about other more important topics, such as observational analysis. My relationship with my father is strange in that way, but in a good way.
Apologies with the long-winded story, here is the actual song:

It really is a brilliant album; I think the title track, ‘Higgs-Boson Blues’ and ‘Jubilee Street’ are my favourites. The final lines of HBB (“Miley Cyrus floats in a swimming pool in Toluca Lake; and you’re the best girl I ever had”) are stunning.
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

(One of their best songs, even just for the two lots of “ooohhhhh get up!” near the end)

I was mildly inspired to listen to Parsely, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme after I watched Paul Simon perform “Homeward Bound” (with George Harrison ) on a ’70s episode of Saturday Night Live.
