My Spotify 2019 top 100 list just came out. The Beatles was my most listened to artist (duh) and Eleanor Rigby was my most listened to song, which is no surprise as that has always been my favorite. What is a surprise is that that was their only song in the top 10 with Ticket To Ride at #14 and no others (even solos!) in the top 20.
What did other Spotify and other music subscribers listen to?

Paul Mccartney was number one for me because I was listening to a lot of his solo albums and because of this Wings was also in my top 5 and of course The Beatles were there as well.
@Von Bontee I listened to Sorry Ma, Forgot to Take Out the Trash and Stink by The Replacements. I like what I have heard so far.

I have all of the Beatles and nearly all Zeppelin and Floyd albums, so I didn’t stream them and I also only have Spotify on my desktop so that also affects my listening habits. I listened to a lot of Bowie while working on schoolwork on my computer, and Radiohead isn’t on YouTube and I only have one of their albums (they’re actually the reason I signed up for Spotify).
I wasn’t surprised that ‘Like I’ve Never Been Gone’ and All The King’s Horses’ by Robert Plant made the list as they did because I listened to them on repeat for a while when I was obsessed with them (I eventually gave in and downloaded the latter, so it was played less), but ‘For Your Life’ by Led Zeppelin surprised me, I didn’t think I repeated it that much. ‘New Moon On Monday’ by Duran Duran was a song I had to learn for a gig so I probably clicked on it a lot. I do recall listening to ‘The Wedding Song’ by David Bowie quite repeatedly earlier in the year, before I finally bought Black Tie White Noise.
For me, Spotify Wrapped says more about my listening habits than what I’ve actually listened to the most, but it’s fascinating nonetheless.
Right now I’m listening to Fistful Of Mercy – As I Call You Down. @AppleScruffJunior

The Replacements – Hootenanny.
If you’re wondering, the sloppiness (more than usual) of the title track is the result of the members switching instruments. And the lyrics to “Lovelines” were being read/stolen from a “Personals” newspaper column.

Was: Guinevere
Am: Legend of a Girl Child Linda
Both are from the album Sunshine Superman (1966) by Donovan (highly recommend btw) (Tbh I might’ve maybe been drawn to the one song because it has the name Linda in it but besides that, it’s a gorgeous, absolutely lovely song)

I feel bad because I didn’t really get a chance to listen to any John tracks yesterday but I’m dedicating this entire week to him so I’ll get to it.
Also, I just listened to that cover and I absolutely enjoyed it <3 What a heartfelt song <3

Thanks for the trivia. I was wondering why the title track sounded different from the rest of the album. I am currently listening Let It Be by The Replacements.

A Beatlebug family favorite. George Winston, whom we’re a big fan of, is a big fan of Guaraldi as well…
Currently listening to ‘Going to the Country’ by Dhani Harrison and Paul Hicks from the soundtrack to Learning to Drive.

Ah, Let It Be … such an awesome album.
One of my favourite music related YouTubers, an awesome channel called Deep Cuts, is back with a 53 minute and very extensive guide to Miles Davis, and that’s only part 1 (birth-1959)! So… I’ll be in heaven for the next hour or so.
