Love this so much: Lou+Sterling (guitars) and John (organ) all race to be the first to hit 11 on the amps, while Maureen (and what better name for a pioneering 60s rock drummeress?) bides her time…only to overrule them all. Thanks, Mo!

Beatlebug, QuarryManGEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. …OK, the time had come for me to finally hear an entire Muse album, so I’m about halfway through Black Holes & Revelations…and pretty pleased so far. “Assassins” reminding me of legendary Canuck prog-punks ‘nomeansno’!

BH&R is probably their most accessible, kinda their Revolver if you ask me. ‘Assassin’ is great.
