Listening to Starman and melting because I’m in love with the vocal.
I’m in love with the Starman himself.

I just finished listening to Ziggy and I think I’ve decided that Starman is the best song. Though Five Years, Soul Love, and Suffragette City were close.

It’s definitely good, it just doesn’t really stand out to me the way the others do.

Also extremely good, but not quite as good as Starman.

What a shock! I thought you hated Heroes?

“Starman”, “Moonage Daydream” (oh yeah) and “Suffragette City” have always been in my top three. I do wish he would’ve maintained that really stylized rock n’ roll yelp for more years than he chose to, but who am I to question his artistic decisions?

Plus Satie was kinda a father to Eno’s beloved ambient music, so there’s that.
Taking a cue from Ron Nasty and QuarryMan and pulling out Kate Bush’s “Hounds of Love”. (I swear, she’s listened to a certain amount of Yoko’s music – “The Big Sky” is reminiscent of “We’re All Water” or “Mindtrain”)

I had this awful mixture of Moonage Daydream, Starman, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, and Hotel California stuck in my head so I’m listening to Ziggy to make it leave.
