I’m listening to my beloved Station to Station. It’s been too long since I got the Bowie out*. 
*I finished my paper last week and decided to give David a rest 
but now I’ve got exams to study for so we’re back

It almost always takes me a couple of listens to really tell if I like something or not, but first impressions were good.

I worked with a well-established Irish theatre director when I was about 9, and I remember singing the titular ‘Ziggy Stardust’ to myself and he overheard me and said “where the hell did you hear that??!” Good times 🙂
Best song from Ziggy Stardust is Five Years and woe betide anyone who disagrees with me

Offline Seeing as it the 20th anniversary of Ipecac Recordings I am planning on listening to a bunch of releases from this record label.
I am starting with the first Fantomas album which was also the first album released on the label as well.

Great choice, my favourite is Rock N Roll Suicide, but Five Years is probably second.
I’m listening to this album, probably my favourite jazz album to listen to when the sun is shining and the birds are singing
