I’ve promised myself that I will listen to a Bowie album when I work up the courage to start writing my essay, though. So I think Next – Glastonbury 2000

Oh, that’s a good one. I’m on Eight Line Poem at the moment.
Actually, I’m trying to listen to this and memorize a poem in French simultaneously, and I’m starting to wonder if this was the best idea
oh and Life on Mars just started there’s no stopping me now

Great choice! My personal favourite Monk, LP. That album cover is brilliant too.
No doubt you’ll approve of what I’m listening to:

I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Glastonbury…..What came in my mind is that, i will never digest ,Michael Eavis turned down George Harrison around 1999.What that man had in his head????????
Turned down George???
We lost a rare live performance of him forever…Isn’t It A Pity ????

Surprising that George would even have offered — when you get an offer like that, you don’t refuse!

My fault…..
I am/was a big Justin Currie fan. Del Amitri my 2nd fav group.
After he came out and said he wanted Scotland to leave the rest of the UK in the Scottish Referendum I thought I wouldn’t spend any more of my money on him.
I’ve always appreciated the Scots and felt betrayed……(pathetic I know).
Listening to some of his solo work recently I thought he’s such a great lyricist I’ll buy his latest effort. ‘Stardust’ it was called. Bought it without listening to it and transferred it to a nw iPod/iPad playlist…….Thought I’d give it a play in bed early this morning…..First track was a crap instrumental..All plinky plonk ostinato and screeching strings….This must be the intro I think……Going on a bit long though…..But that was it. Next track same, next same……Not a tender or insightful lyric in sight.and more melody on Two Virgins I suspect.
Absolute crap. Biggest waste of money ever.
My fault for going on past feelings……Justin got the last laugh though….It’s gonna hurt when the iTunes bill comes in.
