Recorded November 16, 1965…George Martin thinks “Run For Your Life” would make a lovely album closer??

Love a good bit of Sun Ra. ‘Door of the Cosmos’ is my favourite piece of his.
Been really getting into Carrie & Lowell by Sufjan Stevens the past few days. One of the most sincere and heartbreaking albums I’ve ever heard.

Von BonteeI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Have you heard Revolution 1 [take 20, RM1] yet, @50yearslate? It’s not the version on the White Deluxe, but is more important as it reveals the genesis of Revolution 9 .
If you haven’t, you should head over to Joe’s article, where it can be found toward the end of it.

I do love the tragic irony of this song.

Currently listening to ‘Tomorrow’ from Wild Life by Wings. I the second side of this record
I’ve also got ‘Calico Skies’ and ‘Somedays’ on my queue because I’m in a Macca-mood.
Also, ‘Admiral of Upside Down’ is my favourite too, In Parallel is a cool album

Ooh, love those. Sadly I haven’t had one in a while, but that’s okay because I’ve been extra-obsessed with George for weeks. 🙂

*adds album to album wish list which is growing terribly long and I honestly need to start buying some*
Anyhoo, I’ve moved on from Please Please Me to George; specifically, Woman Don’t You Cry For Me.

I was sitting here listening to my George playlist when my brother asked me for an earbud, and I gave it to him, and we listened to It’s What You Value and Crackerbox Palace, and he liked them and I feel like I’ve accomplished something

It’s literally impossible to dislike either of those songs though!
Congrats. Now you need to usher in some other Harrisongs occasionally

Not sure about ‘It’s What You Value’, but it’s certainly very, very difficult to dislike ‘Crackerbox’ — anyone who professed to doing so would immediately earn my distrust.
Currently listening to the 2018 mix of the White Album on Spotify.

That’s the plan
Oh and speaking of which, I was watching Help with my earbuds in and my brother was watching over my shoulder, and at the part where Clang says “Hey! Beatle!” my brother spoke the line along with him. I was so proud
But that’s not on topic. I’m listening to Here Comes The Sun .

[‘Sunday’ – David Bowie]
I’m listening to this song on Spotify and YouTube at the same time. I managed to sync them almost perfectly so it sounds like ADT
…I went down a bit of a rabbit-hole experimenting with different songs and even tripling them up and changing the sync rate to see how it would sound, etc. I found Radiohead worked very well — percussion in general sounds quite trippy, and Radiohead has a lot of trippy percussion already.
I tried ‘The Inner Light ‘ and it sounded very cool. ‘I Feel Fine ‘ also sounds amazing, it gives the guitar this gigantic vintage reverb/phaser effect, depending on how you sync it.
