Beethoven’s 9th. Quite Beatley in link it is too.
There’s a question for wondering; was Beethoven’s 9th used in ‘Help !’ as a reference and nod to their cover of ‘Roll Over Beethoven ‘ and Ringo’s repeated joke of loving his poetry?

Such a great live album.
Michelle is one of the best songs on Rubber Soul , feels like it could have been a tin pan alley kinda number.

An to anyone who can guess which album I’m listening to. Hint: It’s a George album, and I’ve been listening to it practically nonstop for the past couple days…
(have you been paying attention? )

George Harrison (1979) – George Harrison
I’m listening to ‘Carouselambra’, by Led Zeppelin, off of In Through The Out Door.

Not quite 1979 George, but it is George (albeit 8 years later) – Got My Mind Set On You.
I was listening to a song that I’ve written about a forum member (who knows who they are) which I may or may not show to the rest of the forum…

Good choice
I’ve had Not Guilty in my head all morning, it’s been lovely.

My newly expanded George playlist, on shuffle. It’s four and a half hours long now
The only problem is that I may not have time to listen to the whole thing in one sitting…
Currently: Love Comes To Everyone
Next: Roll Over Beethoven , Think For Yourself , Deep Blue, Faster, Here Comes The Sun , Beautiful Girl, Miss O’Dell, Run So Far, Never Get Over You, The Inner Light , Be Here Now, etc… the list goes on…

Steven Wilson’s all-time favourite album, Zeit by Tangerine Dream. So far, it’s interesting but I’m not sure why he likes it so much…
Yeah, that record’s a bit of a slog for me as well.
But you may find their Floyd-tinged debut, “Electronic Meditation” more interesting, BB! (It’s atypically guitar-heavy and is a real saucerful of freakouts.)
Me? Listening to Miles Davis’ “Complete Jack Johnson Sessions” box

Recorded February-May, 1970…Ringo finishes his first solo LP, Paul finishes his first solo LP, George finishes moving into Friar Park, John finishes “Instant Karma”, Phil Spector finishes Let It Be, and Apple denies that The Beatles are finished, but they are. 🙁

Brandi Carlile’s self-titled debut album (2005). Not sure why but I kinda like it.

Great choice @vonbontee ! A Tribute to Jack Johnson is one of my favourite Miles albums. John McLaughlin’s guitar playing is just amazing.
Currently I’m having a bit of nostalgia for a band I was really into around 2014-15, but that I lost interest in with their breakout album, Blurryface, which to me overstretched itself musically and wasted some really cool conceptual ideas on disappointing songs. Still, their early material is actually just as good as I remember it being, this song being one of my favourites.

I was listening to my George playlist, like normal, and listening to I Need You and loving it, like normal, and then I got this terrible feeling that I was neglecting the Beatles, which is also pretty normal but not when I’m listening to George 🙁
So now I’ve set my George playlist aside and I’m listening to Help and it’s never sounded so good. But I’m also filled with about three different kinds of guilt, which sucks.
Now I’m sad for no reason (although I’m sure my math homework isn’t helping.)
Love one another.
