By the way @Beatlebug I just saw someone wearing a Led Zeppelin shirt and I thought of you a-hard-days-night-george-10

Hahaha that’s funny, I’m actually wearing my recently-purchased Led Zeppelin shirt right now. @WeepingAtlasCedars

My 9-year old niece Katie (often mentioned in the “Getting your kids into the Beatles” thread) was gifted an awesome vintage Zeppelin jean jacket for Xmas! It was given by my cousin, who bought it back in 1987 or so, and is still in wonderful condition, with the Swan Song logo painting resplendent on the entire surface of the back.

Listen To What The Man Said. The first non-George song I’ve listened to in days (not counting the Beatles Channel.)

Edit: Back to George now and it happened AGAIN

Was: Revolver – The Beatles (1966), Capitol, vinyl
Yesterday and Today – The Beatles (1966), Capitol, vinyl
Am: Band On The Run Paul McCartney and Wings (1973), Capitol, vinyl

For two reasons: 1) because I happen to be sitting near my record player, and 2) because it’s Time To Get The Beat Out???

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Good choices ahdn_george_08

After so many days of George I’m taking a break with some Rubber Soul .

Edit: I paused Run For Your Life to write this post and when I unpaused it, instead of resuming Run For Your Life it started playing the beginning of A Rose For Emily.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-7

I guess I’ll be listening to that now?

Listening to the Chet Baker Sings album currently, it’s so very blissful

sir walter raleigh, all things must pass

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Oh the avenue of sinners, I have been employed
Working there ’til I was near destroyed
I was almost a statistic inside a doctor’s case
When I heard the messenger from inner space
He was sending me a signal that for so long I had ignored
But he held on to my umbilical cord
Until the ghost of memory trapped in my body mind
Came out of hiding to become alive…………………

Being a rock legend and a wise man at the same time. The unique special case of George Harrison .
Love and Respect!

Smash Mouth’s cover of I’m A Believer by The Monkees. It’s been stuck in my head for ages…

Reporter: Beethoven figures in one of your songs. What do you think of Beethoven?
Ringo Starr: He’s great. Especially his poetry.
