Looks like you’re having a lovely time All I’ve Got To Do is very underrated IMO.
That’s what my dad says… I quite like it but there are better songs on the album. Don’t Bother Me is underrated.
Love one another.

Don’t Bother Me always makes me laugh, it’s such classic grumpy George. The melody is pretty cool too, especially considering it was his first proper composition that I know of.

BeatlebugI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I actually really like the bass (don’t ask me why). I once had it going through my head for three days straight and I loved every minute of it. Sadly it won’t stick in my head anymore because once I listened to it on repeat like 20 times so now it registers as overplayed in my brain

The line between “I want to listen to this but know I shouldn’t because I don’t want to burn myself out on it and not enjoy it anymore” and “gahhhhhhhhhhh I love this song so much *plays it on repeat 30 times*” is one I don’t doubt most of us here have stumbled across more than a few times when it comes to the Beatles Good thing is, everytime I think I’ve moved on, I happen to play one of their songs in a playlist or something and suddenly I’m back here on the forum where there are people with the same obsession.

Currently I am attempting to tackle this monumental slice of madness. It’s so insanely wild, I love it and hate it in equal measures.

I did that with I Am The Walrus – for about 4 weeks in a row I would listen to it on repeat for half an hour on my way to my french horn lesson… Thankfully I didn’t tire of it because it’s simply too good to tire of!

It’s happened with Hey Jude , Ticket To Ride , and WMGGW, so I don’t think the “too good to tire of” rule applies to me…

The best song to listen to at night is, for me, Let It Be .
My favourites are I Will , Julia , and Across The Universe .

All excellent choices. I actually have a playlist of slowish songs to listen to at night.

Also @QuarryMan yes Don’t Bother Me was George’s first actual composition. And I feel the same way about the Beatles as you do… I won’t have them in rotation for a while but then I’ll just go on an all-out Beatlethon and listen to nothing else for a couple days.

Don’t forget In Spite Of All The Danger , an early McCartney Harrison composition. Completely one of a kind. That’s the first song George is credited for.
"The pump don't work cause the vandals took the handles!"
-Bob Dylan, Subterranean Homesick Blues
"We could ride and surf together while our love would grow"
-Brian Wilson, Surfer Girl

I have officially begun my latest project: Trying To Find A Band Or Artist Other Than The Beatles That I Actually Like. I’m currently listening to Somebody That I Used To Know by Elliott Smith. Then I’m going to listen to Pure McCartney because I don’t want to overdo it.
EDIT: I’m on to Maybe I’m Amazed and wow I forgot how good this song is. It’s been waaaaay too long since I last heard it… like weeks

My dad convinced me to listen to Care Of Cell 44 and I must say I’m impressed. It has good bass. I mean it’s no Paul bass but it’s good.

So I was just casually listening to Past Masters and suddenly, without warning, my ears experienced Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand . I can’t stop laughing and it’s annoying my cat but I can’t stop this is insane.

The best part of Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand has got to be the sound quality. That mixdown of the instrumental track is awful…

The distortion on the toms, the sound quality on the vocals… Just don’t go there. Please don’t.
