Was: The Doors Debut Album (My favorite album)
I always feel a little weird when I think about the Doors debut. Its one of the few albums my parents ever bought me and I’m sure they would have been freaked out by the lyrics to “The End “.
He walked on down the hall, and
And he came to a door, and he looked inside
Father, yes son, I want to kill you
Mother , I want to, you

Love this:
I love that track too, but YouTube can be confusing sometimes as it is from the Electric Warrior album. The photo is the very beautiful cover of The Slider album, one of my favourite album covers.
There is some dispute as to who took the photo, credit on the album goes to Ringo Starr , who was shooting the Born to Boogie doc at Lennon’s Tittenhurst place, but Toni Visconti has stated often he took it with Bolan’s camera that day. Either way it’s mesmirising. A close second would be the Warrior album cover by Hipgnosis. Just brilliant.

I’m fairly certain Ray Davies wrote “Waterloo Sunset” with me in mind, as well as himself.
The Something Else album is brilliant. Wonderboy, Autumn Almanac and of course Waterloo Sunset are my top three tracks from that.
Right now, I’m listening to this:
Status Quo – Ma Kelly’s Greasy Spoon (full album, 1970)

Wonderful song, @specialcup.
It’s one of those capricious faux-spring days when I have to throw all the windows open, wear three different kinds of paisley because I can, and listen to my entire Pink Floyd collection in order. So I am.
Was: The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967)
Am: Atom Heart Mother (1970)*
Next: Meddle (1971)
*I don’t have A Saucerful of Secrets or either of the 1969 albums yet

Fun times… I did that once. Scared the socks off of me, proper
It’s currently 3:46 PM, very rainy and mildly melancholy… perfect for continuing my Floydathon.
Was: Wish You Were Here (1975)
Am: Animals (‘Dogs’) (1977)
Next: The Wall (1979)
