Pre-Pompeii Pink Floyd is so very suitable listening for too much ancient Egypt homework
(I’m taking solace in the small comforts )

YES. JOHNNY CASH IS MY GOD. What song of his is your favourite?
Favorite early Cash song: Folsom Prison Blues
Favorite later Cash song: The Man Comes Around
…but I have a lot of songs I really like.
@TheWalrusWasBrian, what are yours?

Was: A Saucerful Of Secrets – Pink Floyd (1968)
Am: More – Pink Floyd (earlier in 1969)
Next (hopefully I’ll be going to bed by this point, but if not): Ummagumma (studio album) – Pink Floyd (later in 1969)
Because I need a mad chronological early Floyd binge to keep me going right now.

Hm…. I’d have to say Man In Black, The Man Comes Around, and his cover of The Mercy Seat.

‘Mars’ from The Planets suite — I need some Mars right now
(Mars is my favourite extraterrestrial planet in our system, and not just because it’s my astrological ruling planet. Something about the red dustyness appeals to me.)

Been listening to a lot of Jam music recently, notable Widespread Panic and Phish, and most of all my current favorite group Spafford.
I love The Allman Brothers and The Dead the most, but I’m trying to deepen my fandom of these bands that are still playing together for the next times I see them.
Fortunately, I have seen all of the bands live before, even if both The Dead and Allmand were mixed generation tribute tours.
"The pump don't work cause the vandals took the handles!"
-Bob Dylan, Subterranean Homesick Blues
"We could ride and surf together while our love would grow"
-Brian Wilson, Surfer Girl

I’m listening to the new Hookworms album, Microshift. I like it – shades of Krautrock, the Rapture and LCD Soundsystem.
Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon
Or buy my paperback/ebook! Riding So High – The Beatles and Drugs
Don't miss The Bowie Bible – now live!
