Really enjoyed that Gastr Del Sol performance, @Shamrock Womlbs, thanks for that! I’d seen their name (and Jim O’Rourke’s) for years but never heard a note till now. (O’Rourke didn’t join Sonic Youth until several albums after I quit following them)

Great! nice you liked them. The whole concert is on youtube, in segments though. You should also check (if you haven’t already) John Mcentire’s (The sea and Cake, Tortoise…) and David Grubbs’s stuff as well. Really, really great.
