GETTIN’ THE LED OUT
Check that heavy metal/Underneath the hood!
Listening to “Cambridge 1969” and Life With The Lions , as I do maybe once a year (usually because I’ve had a jazz cigarette, just sayin), and I must say that Chloe The Cat (not starrshineadog40’s!) does not appear to care for Yoko doing her thing all over us! She got a bit perturbed and alert when it began, but she’s settled for lying down and ignoring it.

Feeling High – Toni Marie Iommi feat. Jere Karalahti (2017)
It’s always weird listening to music from the children of classic rock stars.

Some people may want to keep an eye on their inbox in coming days.
I’ve been really digging the Gonna Have To Serve Somebody (Take 1) that Bob posted on his Youtube page.

This is one of my favourite live recordings of Ella, the energy at the end is incredible. Not only her scatting but also the trumpets, they go totally wild. And there’s also a nice little surprise for every Beatles fan at about 5:55.

If this song caught Paul Mccartney’s attention, I figured I’d give it a listen.
“We recently got an email from Paul McCartney , which was amazing and completely unexpected. And all it said was he was dropping off one of his kids at school, and he had to stay in his car to find out who the song on the radio was. And it was us. It was our song, ‘Magnificent.’ It doesn’t get much better that that really,” Garvey said. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/e…..te-turner/

That’s already her fourth Beatles cover I found – and her best so far imho. Can’t get enough of listening alternately to this and the original.

The whole album is amazing, really, but this one takes it to a completely new level, imo.
