This piece of utter gorgeousness. David Gilmour is my favourite human right now*
*I’m under the influence of his softly spoken magic spells. It’s not me talking, it’s his fingers and that guitar
That is absolutely beautiful. I love David’s facial expressions during the solo, and his smile afterwards.

I’m just finishing Ummagumma by Pink Floyd and it features some of the greatest music (A Saucerful of Secrets-live) and some of the most disturbing (Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict) music I’ve ever heard. Apart from the furry animals, I love the album though! Listening to it feels like entering a rocket and exploring outer space in all its weirdness, scariness, and beauty.
Now, I’m really excited to hear what treasures Atom Heart Mother will yield tomorrow.

Awesomesocks, @Martha! Ummagumma is one of my less-listened albums but it’s growing on me, and I love ‘Grantchester Meadows’ and ‘The Narrow Way’. I find it a particularly good soundtrack for virtually exploring the Venusian jungle.
Atom Heart Mother , as some of you will know, is one of my most favourite Floyd albums (although most Floyd fans, and even its creators, don’t love it much)… it’s much more pastoral and Englishy than it is spacey, to my ears anyway, but I think (hope ) you’ll like it.

I’ve probably posted this before but day-um. Two of my favorite guitarists playing the blues on the same stage (appearing together at around 1:57). Ii’s like I won the flippin’ lottery.

I’m listening to the late, great George Harrison covering the early, great Bob Dylan.

Two things:
The isolated clavichord/keyboard to Superstition by Stevie Wonder, and the isolated vocals in the chorus to Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People.
^^^Couldn’t agree more Mr Womlbs!

The right front channel (that I’ve edited to get rid of the drums and bass, leaving me with the guitar) of the 5.1 mix of It’s All Too Much , and I’m 0:35 in.
