Led Zeppe– wait, what?

Dazing and confusing how much they sound like the Mighty Zepp!

This piece of utter gorgeousness. David Gilmour is my favourite human right now*

Milk Medley by @sir walter raleigh weird idea for a song but besides the fact that the vocals aren’t centered, it’s not bad.

When I was 15, this album rocked my world. This song rocked me to the very core and still rattles me bones today.

I’m a bit late to celebrate its anniversary, oh well, better late than never. I’m so fascinated by this album, it’s so fantastic and eerie at the same time!

This is the first time I listen to The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, actually, it’s the first time I listen to a full Pink Floyd album apart from The Dark Side Of The Moon.paul-mccartney-facepalm_gif But this will change soon as I have two twelve hour train rides ahead of me in the next days in which I will attempt to listen to all the PF studio albums (that will take approximately 14 hours). I’m looking forward to the new discoveries ahead. The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn is really good, especially Matilda Mother , Pow R Toc H, and Interstellar Overdrive.

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

I remember the first time I heard Piper. It was so unreal, I couldn’t believe that music was put there that sounded that way.

@Martha this is absolutely the perfect time to discover it. You can fancy that it’s 1967, it just came out, and you’ve tuned in/turned on! a-hard-days-night-john-6

I’m listening to this isolated guitar track — really quite cool. I’ve been playing it wrong all this time ahdn_paul_01

I’m actually listening to white noise I created — using a cheesy little keyboard that has a sampler on it, plus a “loop” selection.  I hit the sampler button, which records a few seconds of something, and I speak into the mic “SHHHHHHHHHHHH”, then I loop it, and the result is a constant unvarying (at least to my ears) white noise.

Don’t ask me WHY I’m doing this… john-lennon-salute_gif

Oh, I used to be disgusted
And now I try to be amused
But since their wings have got rusted
You know, the angels want to wear my red shoes
But when they told me ’bout their side of the bargain
That’s when I knew that I could not refuse
And I won’t get any older, now that angels want to wear my red shoes

Oh, oh, I was watching while you’re dancing away
Our love got fractured in the echo and sway
How come everybody wants to be your friend?
You know that it still hurts me just to say it

Oh, I know that she’s disgusted (oh, why’s that?)
Because she’s feeling so abused (oh, that’s too bad)
She gets tired of the lust (oh, I’m so sad)
But It’s So Hard to refuse
Can you say that I’m too old
When the angels have stolen my red shoes?

Oh, oh I said, “I’m so happy I could die”
She said, “Drop dead, ” then left with another guy
That’s what you get if you go chasing after vengeance
Ever since you got me punctured, this has been my sentence

Oh, I used to be disgusted
But now I try to be amused
But since their wings have got rusted
You know, the angels want to wear my red shoes
But when they told me ’bout their side of the bargain
That’s when I knew that I could not refuse
And I won’t get any older, now that the angels want to wear my red shoes

Oh, I won’t get any older, now the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes
Red shoes, the angels want to wear my red shoes

Sounds interesting. Have you or have you thought about putting your noise online?

If so then you should post about it here https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..e-it-here/

And in the end the lunch you take is equal to the lunch you bake.
