Sorry if you have mentioned it before but will you do a Beatles and Wings / Paul solo marathon or will you also listen to the solo albums of the other three, @William Shears Campbell?
I’m listening to The Beatles aka the White Album () for the second time today, right now Revolution 9 is playing. I plan to sleep after Good Night …
Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

Yeah, I just do each of the solo careers separately, although I have thought about adjusting my shelf to have the albums all chronological and mixed together, but I’s need to look up release dates for that.
Thats a good choice of listening material. I 100% approve.

I did that a while back with all releases. It doesn’t take too long.
@Martha
I might do it tonight, but I’m not changing my listening order, because I’m in too deep now.

I started doing it and I don’t like it. I like seeing how much I have of each solo career.

Off The Ground – Electric Arguments are probably gonna be like one to two hundred bucks a peice. I’ll have my eye out for them, and I’ll get the reissues if they’re not too pricy. Right now I’m focusing on reality which is Press To Play , All The Best (UK and US), Flowers In The Dirt , and Kisses On The Bottom

One of the 4 Beatles albums that i’ve listened to in it’s entirety, the 4 being Revolver , Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles, and Abbey Road . I love the guitar in And Your Bird Can Sing by the way, i love how The Beatles use Paul and George playing harmonized leads, reminds me of something metal guitarists do except in a rock song.

Jeff Healey’s poor cover of Guitar Gently Weeps (great guitar but bad overwrought vocals…still, give the poor guy credit for being blind and dead far too early)

That’s such a funny coincidence, I’ve also listened to Stairway To Heaven when I have read your post!!!! (Right now it’s Misty Mountain Hop, guess which album I’m listening to.)

If I had to pick four Beatles albums to listen to in their entirety, I would’ve also chosen these four, definitely. Another Beatles album I think is very cohesive is Beatles For Sale . The emotional development (from I’m A Loser to I’ll Follow The Sun To Words Of Love To Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby ) in this album is simply stunning, the album is so underrated generally but that’s off topic now.
And I also love And Your Bird Can Sing , these ascending chords in the verse (is it really the verse?, I don’t for sure) are so awesome and all in all the song sounds just like the masterpiece of a carver should be: it’s so compact that every note you would add would be too much and every note you’d take away would be missed. It’s just perfect the way it is. By the way, @The Hole Got Fixed will probably be really happy to see all the love And Your Bird Can Sing gets on this thread.
