I’m listening to Ten Years Gone by Led Zeppelin from Physical Graffiti. A beautiful track: great riff, great production, great lyrics.
I listened to Revolver earlier and also A Rush Of Blood To The Head by Coldplay.

Beatlebug, WeepingAtlasCedarsI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Just recently started listening to Gorillaz after learning about their new album and I AM IN LOVE. I really like the concept of them being a “virtual band”, because it doesn’t really seem to confine them to one specific genre. I’ve been listening mainly to their new album Humanz and a bit of Demon Days. Good stuff.

‘The Rain Song’ – Led Zeppelin (I was reminded of it by some chords I was showing Silly Dad earlier)

I definitely agree! The parts with the metaphors and such about eagles are my favourites.

Lovely choice! I think The Rain Song might just be my favourite track from Houses of the Holy.
Not listening to anything too much at the moment. I might put some Zeppelin on later, though!

But, but, but… D’yer Mak’er!
(Yeah, yeah, Ok, the Rain Song is just as great or better than D’yer Mak’er.)
I’m digging Rock The Casbah, by The Clash.
Really good song.

I like No Quarter the best from Houses Of The Holy, with D’yer Mak’er at a close second.

I think The Ocean might be my favorite off Houses of the Holy. That’s just me, though. I like unpopular choices.

‘D’yer Mak’er’ is a fun song. I really need to listen to the whole album… and all the other whole albums too…
Anyway, all the stuff about Here, There And Everywhere , combined with my recent Gilmour obsession, has reminded me of this piece of gorgeousness:
(I love it. His voice is so beautiful, as is that subtle little guitar part, and even the creepy piano is cool. )

I just finished The Long Run in my eagles car chronology. Now I have to wait a few years(not really I just have to wait till the next time I drive) for them to reform so I can listen to the Hell Freezes Over tracks. Then it’s on to Long Road Out Of Eden.

13th-greatest album of all time! (or thereabouts)(OK, actually I like the North American version better but so what)
I like the North American version better, too. Also, the album artwork is better on the North American version.
