The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway – Genesis
I just listened to it for the first time and was instantly hooked – I even forgot that I initially wanted to put new strings on my guitar. Now I will listen to it right again!

I finished the Beatles chronology car listen a few weeks ago, and yesterday I started a George Harrison chronology car listen. I started with ATMP and am about 1/4 through the Apple Jam.

I’ve sorted my chronology playlist to include Beatles and solo releases in exact release order. I am currently on Tug Of War .

Sorry if this is asking too much but can you tell me what chronological order you use, my guess would be something like this:
Love Me Do (Ringo) (1962)
Please Please Me (1963)
From Me To You /Thank You Girl (1963)
She Loves You /Thank You Girl (1963)
With The Beatles (1963)
I Want To Hold Your Hand /This Boy (1963)
Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand /Sie Liebt Dich (1964)
Long Tall Sally (1964)
A Hard Day’s Night (1964)
Beatles For Sale (1964)
I Feel Fine /She’s A Woman (1964)
Yes It Is (1965)
I’m Down (1965)
Bad Boy (1965)
Help ! (1965)
Rubber Soul (1965)
Day Tripper /We Can Work It Out (1965)
Paperback Writer /Rain (1966)
Revolver (1966)
Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967)
Magical Mystery Tour (Capitol) (1967)
Lady Madonna /The Inner Light (1968)
Hey Jude /Revolution (1968)
Yellow Submarine (1968) (although the album wasn’t released until 1969, the movie where the songs come from was released on July 17th 1968)
The Beatles (1968)
Get Back (single)/Don’t Let Me Down (1969)
The Ballad Of John And Yoko /Old Brown Shoe (1969)
Abbey Road (1969)
Across The Universe (original) (1969)
Let It Be (single)/You Know My Name (Look Up The Number) (1970)

I’ve posted two big lists on the previous page that run into each other of Beatles and solo. I include albums like Wonderwall Music and Two Virgins between Beatles releases but if you’re not interested in those albums then the only problem I see with your order is with the release of MMT singles. I would separate the sountrack EP from the separate single releases.
8/5/66 – Revolver
2/17/67 – Strawberry Fields Forever / Penny Lane
6/1/67 – Sgt. Pepper
*6/12/67 – The Family Way (Paul)
7/7/67 – All You Need Is Love /Baby You’re A Rich Man
11/24/67 – Hello Goodbye /I Am The Walrus
11/27/67 – MMT Soundtrack.
Spotify users can play this, although it can’t stream everything, so if you’re a completionist you should play your own collection, although Spotify does have many albums that I do not.

Either way is fine with me, I just used Magical Mystery Tour 76′ for convenience although I would prefer to separate singles and EP myself for accuracy reasons. The only thing I dislike about your playlist is that you place Yellow Submarine after The Beatles instead of before.

Yeah, that was a toss up for me. The full songtrack was released in January of ’69 and I made the playlist thinking how I would listen to their catalog had I bought every album and single the day it came out at the record store, although yes technically the project was before The White Album . I had a similar with The Family Way , as Paul did his work on that soundtrack before they started on Penny Lane , yet it was released as an album after Pepper. Perhaps it would have been better to sort them by what period they were created, but release dates were much more definitive and easy to collect. Although it was tempting to move around Yellow Submarine and Let It Be as the lateness of their releases causes a discrepancy.
Also I only included non-album singles.

You could claim that the 4 new songs from Yellow Submarine were released on July 18th, 1968, the day the movie came out.
