Yeah, that’s why George said he didn’t like anyone who didn’t love a uke, and carried ukes with him everywhere – to play, and to give to those he loved…
Are you suggesting George was a baby, @HMBeatlesfan?
Get thyself out to buy a uke! Wonderful instrument, especially looking like…
…as mine does.
As George said…
Everybody should have and play a ‘UKE’…

Yep, George Harrison is a baby.
You should see him in fanfiction.

Sure, George liked his ukulele, but he didn’t play one on a single Beatles recording instead opting for a guitar, playing such great guitar lines such as the main riff for Day Tripper or the solo for Something . Also, I have played with ukulele’s, but I’ve been playing guitar forever and have to retune my ukes to E standard (I’ve also done Eb standard, D standard, Drop D, and Open G with a uke) just to play them and I also prefer having a bigger guitar with 6 strings, personally I am a Fender Strat guy.
Maybe you should try posting more.

Guitars are overrated. Drums are the best.

It may not be canon, @HMBeatlesfan, though many argue it should be, but who plays the uke on Free As A Bird ?
I do believe that’s Georgie.
He wasn’t a great uke fan when the Boys were together, became one in the late ’70s/early ’80s.
So, of the Beatles songs recorded after George really got into the uke, 50% involved him playing a uke…

It’s George. The ‘FAAB’ video director person regretted not having George play it in the video as he didn’t realise until after the matter. There is a quote floating out there in the land of internet about it.

I grew up with Divine Discontent, so there’s sentimental value. Never thought of them as Christian, though apparently they are a ‘Christian rock band’.

Sorry. Penny Lane is by that other band who ripped off The Rutles. What was their name….? THE MONKEES!
I also happen to be a Weird Al fan! My favorites are Trigger Happy and Dog Eat Dog.
