@William Shears Campbell If you haven’t listened to All Things Must Pass a good 1000 times yet, I recommend doing so immediately. I always say that Revolver is the best album ever, but its difficult to call any album better than All Things Must Pass .
I’ve given ATMP about 4 listens as of tonight. It always intimidates me because of how long it is. I like it a lot more this time around tho.

Offline I’m on a Lennon marathon. On the way to school yesterday I listened to John Lennon /Plastic Ono Band, and today I listened to Imagine on the way to school and Some Time In New York City this evening at home. I was going to skip the albums with Yoko but I already did STINYC, so looks like tomorrow morning I’m going back and putting in everyone’s favorite Lennon album, Two Virgins .

Offline This just rocks my boat. I’m sure it must have been discussed already but it works for me, right to the last drop. Headphones essential. It’s Paul’s bass that gets me. It’s like Ringo’s understated drums. It’s John’s song and great folk guitar and he is just quietly adding to it on the original. It would be so easy to mess it up. Someone said recently that Paul is insisting on these videos being removed. If it’s true I can’t see why because it is only bringing on something new and yet original and that can only add to the Beatles legend. If it’s just a money thing, I’ll happily buy another anthology based on this and all the other stuff we haven’t heard. 🙂
