Apparently the BöC boys themselves loved it too, for introducing their nearly-forgotten music to a new generation (and that was decidedly a Good Thing!)

The Vaccines's live album (currently We're Happening). Great little indie band, their album is out this month. Really excited for music this year.
Is that ther name of the album? If so, it's a great name for it! What type of music do they play?
No, the song I was listening to was called We're Happening.
I'd call The Vaccines punk, in the traditional sense (i.e. like the Ramones). They're a bit better instrumentally than the Ramones or the Sex Pistols, but they're essentially an “if we play it loud and fast, it won't matter that the lyrics aren't great” band.
The live album is called Live from London, England, which isn't that good a title. Their debut album is out on Monday, and is called “What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?”. They've released two singles, Post Break Up Sex (backed with the aforementioned We're Happening) and Wreckin' Bar.
But yeah, British guitar rock has been down the drain for a few years. The best bands from 2005-ish have mostly either broken up, reinvented themselves (the Manic Street Preachers, Cornershop) or, in the case of the Kaiser Chiefs, started record labels, and the replacement acts haven't found mainstream success. In terms of sales, Post Break Up Sex is the most successful guitar rock single for months (if you discount Bird Is The Word , which was backed by morons to get to Christmas number one- apologies to anybody on here who is a moron who I mayuhave offended by comparing them to someone who would try and get that song to number 1), not that that is saying much
Sorry, went on a bit there. But yeah, people have high hopes for the Vaccines, though I can't see it myself.
I told her I didn’t
