Because I was reading an engrossing novel in which the main character’s colours were orange, red, pink, etc. and I spotted the cover lying around and decided to listen to it.

Silly Dad playing ‘Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five ‘ on the piano. I started playing it recently and now he’s nuts for it — it is fun to play.

^^That only lasted a few minutes before I went back to the Rutles. I’ll listen to it later — no point if I’m not in the mood.
‘I Must Be In Love’ just came on.
I kind of can’t help but like them, because they sound exactly like the Beatles, so all the songs are familiar, yet new.

It’s like an album full of unreleased new Beatles tracks!

I APPROVE
Good song that, I really like the calm self-confidence in the words, not to mention Dave’s gently lilting vocal. It’s a Watching The Wheels kind of song: ‘I know who I am and what I’m doing, and I refuse to let others Meddle with that.’ (See what I did there? ) And yet it’s contrasted nicely with the crowd singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, saying that you have someone behind you in your endeavours, so you don’t have to be self-reliant all the time. (I just noticed that just this minute, by the way.)
Currently listening to A Hard Day’s Night by the real Beatles — I’ll Be Back right now.
