…and now it’s George and his old band doing that one about the depressed guitar!
No wonder the guitars depressed, its a depressing song. I don’t mind the song tho.

Interesting choice of date for the Star-Club recordings, Necko. While many have plumped for the 31st as a stand-in date for recordings that can only be narrowed down to having been made between 18th and 31st, you’ve gone for the one date none of the Star-Club recordings could have been made on as it was their only day off during that last Hamburg residency. Just wondered why you went for the 25th?

I’m just going by this list. As the source admits, it’s nothing more than an educated guess.

That list is definitely wrong on that, @Necko. As I said, it was their only day off.
I don’t think you can actually precisely date the Star-Club recordings. You can tell they probably come from two or three sets, and hazard a guess at final week. Labelling them myself, I’m not brave enough to go beyond “[live] » Star-Club, Hamburg, West Germany; circa 26-31 December 1962”.

As far as me, I guess the TV in the background counts for what I’m listening to right now? LOL
