Thanks to (oh god, can I do this?) @natureaker for bringing that song to my attention, I loved the Sgt Pepper intro!
Do I Have To Do This All Over Again (Long Title), by the Monkees.

Was this slice of Beatle-ish psychedelia by The Chemical Brothers (with Jonathan Donahue from Mercury Rev):
Am, this very Floyd sounding offering from Funkadelic (with a weird Hendrix-type intro, 3rd Stone from the Sun, etc.):

Not as long as ‘Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict’ (which I am listening to right now).

That is actually part of the title so…
Yeah, I realise that. Well, ‘Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict’ was done the year after, so I guess ‘Do I Have To Do This All Over Again’ was long in ’68…
… but not as long as ‘Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey ‘!
Listening to Eva Cassidy’s rendition of ‘What A Wonderful World’. What a wonderful voice.

John Montagna. Found him on YouTube doing reviews of The Beatle remasters Stereo and Mono. The best was the mono review… (which for some reason is blocked in the US now)
Here’s his YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/user/j…..tagnamusic

“Boomerang Baby” – The Claypool-Lennon Delirium
…Interesting! Sean never ceases to amaze.
Crazy when you figure how much of your music library is Beatles. As of last count, the original four hold 10% of my Amazon library.
When you add their solo stuff, and getting into Wings/Traveling Wilburys/Plastic Ono Band/All-Starr Band, you get 16%.
When you add next of kin like Sean, Julian, Dhani, James and Zak, it’s up to 18%.
That’s almost one-fifth my entire collection, before delving into the likes of Mr. Mister, ELO, Toto, Santana, Eric Clapton, Todd Rundgren and countless others who have some sort of connection with it all. I won’t even bother counting any further. Such an influential band, the Beatles, and a LOT of history involved.
The roots run deep.

I believe this is Mr. Zak Starkey on drums with Oasis. I hear a lot of Ringo in his sound ^_^

Pink Floyd’s The Final Cut— I’ve been putting off listening to it for ever, but I feel like I should cos it’s The Pink Floyd Sound, even though it’s mostly Roger Waters.

Love Eva and her music @Beatlebug. Makes me feel like I’m in nature when I listen. I imagine this song brings great comfort to her family when the are missing her.

‘Sing For Absolution‘ by Muse– gorgeous song, with a guitar part that sounds like The Great Riff on Abbey Road .
