Have you heard this acoustic version of Heat Of The Moment @Evangeline? I love the guitar playing…

Whoa… that was awesome, definitely changes the mood of the song. I kinda like it better than the original version.

Currently listening to I’d be Talking All the Time” on Beaucoups of Blues. This album is growing on me. The style suits Ringo SO well.

……

……….And I am NOT a country fan. Who knew? a-hard-days-night-ringo-13

Not to mention the album was recorded in Nashville, which is where I’m going tomorrow. beatlemaniacs_02_gif

No one has posted any Macca all day. I need to rectify that… so I’ll do Flaming Pie in a bit.

Currently previewing the entirety of Pure McCartney, since it’s his birthday and all, hehe. I may purchase this after the weekend. The price isn’t bad on Amazon. paul-mccartney-thumb_gif

Got it on Spotify to listen to so won’t buy. I already own Wingspan and All The Best! so  I think that covers a lot right there.

I know a few people here love the Shangri-La’s so here is 7 minute session outtake of the wonderful ‘Remember (Walkin’ In The Sand)’, one of my very favourite tracks. John must have been a fan as he stole bits for ‘Free As A Bird ‘. Found this ages ago but forgot all about it until a couple of days ago.

Snaparoo, kangaroo

Good memory mmm, love me some Shangri-Las. Whenever I want some good background noise, I always turn on early 60’s girlbands, they’re great in the main run.

Recently, I’ve been an awful hipster and have been listening to French pop whilst going about my day.

I really like ‘M’ or Matthieu Chedid, he is an absolute lunatic (I love one of the comments to the below video “worst village people tribute act EVER!”) but I really like his music. He also did the original French voice for the flea in the film ‘A Monster in Paris’ which Sean Lennon later dubbed so there’s a Beatley connection. He’s also done a duet with Sean which is basically just Sean’s song ‘Parachute’ but with French lyrics about an eclipse 😛

I woke up with this pre-installed in my earworm chamber. (This happens a lot– yesterday it was ‘Don’t Let Me Wait Too Long’ off Living In The Material World .)

Ringo – Never Without You heart

And, sidenote: Does that bit at around 2:50-ish sound familiar to any of you as well? It almost feels like a section from another song to me. Huh. a-hard-days-night-paul-10
