Luther Dickinson — Blues and Ballads (A Folksingers Songbook) Vol. I & II
Very nice, mostly acoustic blues. Some new songs, some old, some acoustic versions of North Mississippi Allstars (Luther’s most “famous” band) songs. In spite of the name, on CD there’s just the one disc, though 21 songs.
It's gotta be rock and roll music if you wanna dance with me

Listening to this for the first time (been meaning to for an embarrassingly long time):
I find the mono to be a nicer listen (proper mono), well worth checking out.
Then find ‘Thrillington ‘ and give that a blast.
All three are ‘Ram ‘ but its such a fabulous album it’s not a bother.

New albums by old people:
Bonnie Raitt — Dig in Deep
Mudcrutch — Mudcrutch 2
Paul Simon — Stranger to Stranger
Lined up right now in the queue. With such great music from old folks, that nagging feeling that I should be finding something “new” quiets down a bit. Still…

Heard it in a dream; am now hearing in real life. It sounds a little different but much the same.

Brain Damage – Pink Floyd
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I’ll see you on The Dark Side of the Moon!
