Was reading Wind in the Willows (no, I’m not in the wrong thread) and came across a chapter entitled The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn.
So that’s what I’m listening to, by Pink Floyd.

Yeah, it was actually named after that chapter, Syd Barrett being a bit of a fan, apparently.
I need to break that one out again; it’s been too long. I would now, but I’m doing The Wall.
Just One Of My Turns…

It just broke 90 degrees here.Sublime is the summertime, warm and lazy
These are perfect days like Heaven’s about here
I that song… haven’t played it in a while because I’m too lazy to open-D-tune my guitar but ’tis a gorgeous tune. In fact I think I might interrupt Roger’s caterwauling for a bit of Harrisonics

It’s still in the high 80s tonight. I guess summer has started here, so it’s time for another meeting of the George Winston Appreciation Club Silly Winston Fan Girl 🙂
Thanks for the invite but it’s too early. I’m stickin’ to Winter Into Spring until at least May.

Roxy Night — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (7/7/78)
I’m seeing Bruce Sunday night, getting primed early. This show was recorded about 6 weeks before my first Springsteen show, which to this day I count as the best concert I’ve ever seen (as does my wife, and many consider the “Darkness” tour to be his best).
I’m feeling a bit deva-vuish writing this…have I posted this exact thing before? With so few posts, you’d think I’d remember! Getting old, folks…
