Okay so that made me want to listen to McCartney. On the second song “That Would Be Something “. “Meet you in the fallin’ rain, mama, meet you in the fallin’ rain.” Yeah, I freaking love this album.

Music on shuffle. Right now “Singalong Junk” is playing. I adore this melody!
‘Singalong Junk’ is better than ‘Junk’ which is junk.

Always found ‘Junk’ to be a throwaway which the Beatles were right to ignore for ‘The White Album ‘, same as with ‘Teddy Boy ‘ and the ‘Let It Be ‘ album. It does have a nice melody but the lyrics and Paul’s vocal are empty.

Latest was Fantasia 2000 which I watched on TV last night for the first time, partly to test the new soundbar I bought.
The film was better than I thought, too short though. Two Fantasias and no Mozart? Honestly Disney!!
The sound bar does a decent job – it’s obviously not as good as the surround system at my old place but it does a decent job and suits the space I have available now – and is much better on films than the tinny TV speakers.

The song from which I take my latest sig quote.
Breathe, breathe in the air
Don’t be afraid to care
Leave, but don’t leave me
Look around choose your own ground
For long you live and high you fly
The smiles you’ll give and tears you’ll cry
All you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.
It’s quite possibly my favourite song off The Dark Side Of The Moon— which is quite possibly my favourite Pink Floyd album. (I confess. Forgive me, Father… my favourite album by the Floyd is their most well-known, best-selling, and highly-rated one…)

Whys that in need of confession? Its not like your favourite album is ‘The Best of Pink Floyd’.

Mozart’s Requiem conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
My fourth version.
An odd side effect of all my classical box purchases is that a number of them have this piece by Mozart. So many Requiems. Or is it requia?
I’ve been pretty lucky with overlaps (and doing my best to check lists of contents etc for them), and often those that do have been pretty different interpretations. But the Mozart Requiems have been everywhere, as have Beethoven symphony cycles (though not quite as many of those).

Well, a lot of Floyd fans go on about how it’s sooooo overrated and that. It’s like confessing that Yesterday is your favourite Beatles song.
But in my opinion, it’s famous for a reason!!!!!!

Why is it bad if ‘Yesterday ‘ is your favourite Beatles song? Is there a list somewhere of the songs you cannot have as your favourite(s)?

Come off it mmm, it was half joking anyway.
On-topically speaking:
Forgive me, Lord, please, those years when I ignored you… Mmmm.
Love this song
