Well if thehippiechick would do me the honor I’m up for it. My slow dance very much resembles swaying under the moonlight. Madame Butterfly says my rocking out dance looks like I’ve spent a lot of time at Grateful Dead shows, so it might work out ok 😉

Just listened to Orchestral Highlights from Wagner’s Ring on a Naxos CD conducted by Uwe Mund. The sound is not the best but it has its moments, particularly in the brass – and it opens and closes with two of my favourite musical moments from the tetralogy: “Entrance of the Gods into Valhalla” and “Siegfried’s Death and Funeral March”. Oh, and of course the Valkyries get to ride in there somewhere as well.

Wow, neat find! I was about to ask if that was the Harrisong, and so I gave it a listen. I am impressed.
