Yesterday Once More by the Carpenters. Karen had such a beautiful alto voice. Apparently one time, John complimented her and she couldn’t believe it.

Agreed– but I couldn’t stand her cover of Ticket To Ride . Her forte lies in those ballad-type numbers.

I’m listening to it now. There’s some weird syncopation. Richard at least did a good piano arrangement. XD It’s just so weird hearing a Beatles song slowed down and with a pretty symphony. At least it shows how universal they are in different varieties of people liking them.

I don’t like their cover of Help either, however, there isn’t a voice as easy on the ear as Karen’s, IMHO.
Btw, I’m listening to Daydream Believer by The Monkees.

I think that her and John had a lot of common where it has to do with insecurities. Ringo and her had something in common too.
The House of the Rising Sun right now.

Very disappointed to see an absence of Dylan’s I Wanna Be Your Lover there, @Necko, a great 1965 outtake recorded with The Hawks (aka The Band), whose starting point appears to have been I Wanna Be Your Man .
