Pink Floyd – Meddle
I’ve never heard it before (at least, that I know of). Interesting listen so far.

I haven’t drifted off on a pillow of winds over the golden dawn in quite some time I’ll give it a spin but it may make working on this beautiful day quite impossible.

“Brooklyn Baby” by Lana del Rey. Everyone should take a listen. 🙂
I listened to her for a good while about a year or two ago. I still haven’t gotten over that song. I should probably continue to look up her stuff
As for at this very moment, I’m listening to Girl Loves Me – David Bowie

I listened to the oldest and the most recent instrumental music in my collection, in terms of when the music originated.
I started new: from SLEEP by Max Richter. It’s the one hour daydream version of the 8 hour main work which he wants to use to send you to sleep.
Next up was the oldest instrumental music I have ever heard – Wind Music from Renaissance Italy. It was a hoot, really entertaining, including someone making a hurdy gurdy sound amazingly similar to a sitar. I have heard lots of Gregorian Chant and various motets and madrigals from the time, but the instrumental music was a revelation. Surprisingly it sounded more ‘modern’ than a lot of the Baroque music which followed it.
