@sigh butterflyPartly inspired by you, partly by the weather (grey and rainy, which makes the few wintery greens pop out), but mostly because I felt like it.
I enjoyed Emerald today as well. Lot’s of wispy clouds mixed with high flying birds blowing around out me window while I listened. Guess what? I mistakenly listened to a song before I realized I had the chosen the wrong CD on youtube. I think this must be a follow-up to Emerald – same Narada artists and the cover is very similar. I like Emerald better though, it’s pure magic.

Rocky Raccoon over the speakers at the mall. First time I’ve heard it while ‘out and about’.

Hmm, interesting, I’ve not heard of that before; I’ll have to check it out.
One of the lads suggested we do this song for our next jam so I’m giving it a listen, and while it’s totally different from my usual listening, I’m finding it rather interesting:

Some of the pictures in that video are from the Rosebery Street performance, not the Woolton fete. I only point this out at this moment because I can’t believe I’ve learned that much about Beatles history.

Various songs on my YouTube liked videos list; Jealous Guy right now.
I didn’t mean to hurt you; I’m sorry that I made you cry. Oh now, I didn’t want to hurt you, I’m just jealous guy. Possibly my favourite Lennonsong.

Yes, I can imagine a new group learning this song. It has a strong rhythm (a nice thumping sound), so that portion of your band can work that up and then the leads can play/sing over the top. Rock on SG!!

I guess I would be the leads, because I’m the only one who cares to sing. Well, one of the other lads would like to, but he feels he can’t sing in front of others. We’re working on him…

I was listening to You Really Got A Hold On Me when I got on here, but I purposely waited before posting in this thread so I could say:
