Just finished an entertaining disc of opera duets and choruses.

The Anvil Chorus from Verdi’s Il Trovatore sounds marvelous with the volume cranked up!!

I’m listening to a playlist of the 217 Beatles canon songs. I made two different versions. I’m hearing version 2.

I chose different versions for each playlist–my favorite mono and stereo mixes.

Thanks for that, @sigh butterfly. I hadn’t actually seen that before (I assume it’s from Rock and Roll Circus) and it does seem a lot more relaxed than the Toronto version.

Makes me think that I should watch Rock and Roll Circus at some point.

Dylan — Best of the Cutting Edge 1965-1966

I didn’t plunk down the bucks for the larger version of Bootleg 12, but listening to this just makes me remember exactly how amazing this 3-album run is:  Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, Blonde on Blonde.

I discovered this band while looking for ukulele tab for a particular song. I got an album off their bandcamp and I’m sold. This one is a slightly different version to the one on the album, but it’s pretty amazing anyway:

I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe.  This has been true for 2016 & 2017 Sig-Badge.png but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Beethoven’s 5th Symphony conducted by Otto Klemperer – the work and conductor that got me into classical in the first place.

The version I listened to just now was recorded in 1959 at Abbey Road with the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Magnificent strength and clarity in this one.
