I like that song @natureaker . My daughter makes mix CDs to listen on the long drive to her University. This one always reminds me of the windows down, warm wind blowing, sun setting, and the music cranked up loud . Guess what, at our company Christmas party some of the 20 something ladies danced to Marina and The Diamonds “I Am Not A Robot”. Sounded good and they were pretty impressed I knew who she was – thanks to you 😉Speaking of “I Am Not A Robot”, that’s what I’m listening to right now
Yep, that’s the song @natureaker. Marina has an amazing variety of videos and hair color – and I’ve only seen the ones from the Electra Heart CD. The video for the song Lies (when she looks directly in the camera) is frightening and made me feel guilty even though I didn’t do anything wrong

Here Comes The Sun – Isolated Vocals (maybe you could try accompanying the boys on this one Silly Girl )Well, since you suggested it…
I tried humming the guitar bits and I found that there wasn’t even enough time for the first four notes after ‘it’s all right’; I suspect that it was edited so that there wouldn’t be great long stretches of silence.
Hi SG, I noticed that too but thought maybe I was imagining the wrong tempo. I saw another version of the isolated vocals that someone accompanied with their piano (a la George Winston). I’m going to check to see if it’s truly the isolated vocals for Here Comes The Sun . Speaking of the other George, look what Santa got me
AWESOMENESS! Have I found a fellow George Winston fan? I saw him in concert four years ago (wow, has it really been that long?) and ’twas a rapturous experience.

Congrats on reaching 5000 @Beatlebug . I actually started visiting the forum in Jan. 2015 so I’ve probably read most of them . Yes, love George Winston and have had the pleasure of seeing him play in many different settings (a cathedral in San Francisco, a rainforest benefit in Hawaii, at a school gym in Oregon). I laugh when I think about the first time I saw him – he came out onstage a little early and due to his demeanor and dress I thought he was the janitor . We had a simple rule while raising our daughter, she could choose any event for us to attend as long as she accompanied us on ours. We took her to see George when she was around 10 and she was kind of dreading a night of solo piano. To her amazement he got up in the middle of a song and started plucking the strings inside of the piano. This really turned her on and opened up the whole experience. To this day she listens to him on a weekly basis and always finds a place for him in her playlists. This is her fav:

Thanks, sigh-butterfly; if you’ve been lurking since January then you probably have read them all, as I joined in February. Yep, that song’s one of my favourites too… I grew up on George Winston, in fact my early years contained more solo piano than Beatles.

Yeah, most of her videos from that particular era are great. The only one I really don’t care for is this one (because seriously, how do u record stuff like this?): https://www.google.com/url?sa=…..6085,d.dmo
Righty now, I’m listening to The Great Pretender by Freddie Mercury

What’s funny is when I logged on just now, the page was showing the Rubber Soul logo.
