An album that was released in 1976, the title of which was a double reference to the artist’s age at the time of release and the speed at which a standard long-playing vinyl record turns.

Just getting to this @Necko (I’ll just have to pretend it’s Friday) This may be the first list in which I believe I have every song in my collection, with the exception of the Santana song. I’ll give that one a listen first to get the night rolling and then maybe fire up Do What You Like when I get home 😉

Wah-Wah ‘ has to be blasted out as loud as you can possibly get away with. Same as ‘Instant Karma ‘. You’re doing the songs a disservice if you don’t.

Love ‘Imagine ‘. The song and the album. ‘Oh My Love’ is, for me, the best thing John wrote after the band split. It’s simply amazing.

Enjoying a classic live album by primitivist guitar virtuoso Robbie Basho, ‘Bonn Ist Supreme‘. Recorded in 1980, released in 2008, it’s absolutely breathtaking.

It’s walking in the woods by yourself music. Reccomended.
