Why do you need to download a patch for a game you just bought? I dont understand the world of video games. When i was playing them you got a disc and put it in the drive; downloading didnt exist for them.
So you can issue the finished version of the game apparently. With their mega budgets and anxious publishers games are pushed onto the market in an increasingly incomplete state nowadays – then updated with a “Day 1 Patch”.
I’m a bit torn on whether or not this is a good thing. I know there were some VERY broken games issued “back in the day” and if we were lucky patches were made available via magazine cover disks some months down the track.

Thanks @Beatlebug this recording is a lot of fun and left me grinning ear to ear Btw-I found my copy of All Things Must Pass and have copied it to my car’s hard drive. Mr. Crisp and company are now always within a press of me finger 😀

The tune that Sir Frankie starrs* is one of my top three favourite Harrisongs. I’m getting ATMP for the wintry hollydays, can’t wait!!!!!!
And in some vague effort to stay on topic, I will proudly proclaim I’m now letting Sir Frankie Crisp roll.
*pun intended

I really like Arthur Alexander’s original recording of ‘Anna (Go To Him)’. As is the same with most covers John did I get a different vibe to the originals; i find there to be more emotion, desperation and lostness (thats not a word but who cares?) in John’s vocal in ‘Anna’. The same for the Star Club recording of Arthur’s ‘Where Have You Been All My Life?’.

Seems my love has up and has left you with no warning, it’s not always gonna be this grey.
(This one really helped me out while at the dentist being relieved of my teeth.)

I think You’ is a terrible song, as is almost all of ‘Extra Texture ‘.
