I thought about posting what I’m listening to here, but then I decided not to, because I’ve posted ‘I’m listening to George Harrison – Best Of Dark Horse ‘ many times already.
(See what I did there?)

Do you have multiple versions of ‘The Long And Winding Road ‘ on your device? If so should we be placing someone to keep an eye on you so you dont try and fit yourself into the toaster to end the boredom.
I’m listening to the complete 5th Anniversary episode of Saturday Club from October 1963. The good is that the Everly Brothers and The Beatles are two of the guests, the bad is that most of the other live guests are either dire or their material is so it can become a struggle. The occasional spin of a Roy Orbison or Del Shannon number rescues the monotony. A great insight into the British Radio scene in 1963 tho.
Had to withstand this monstrosity earlier. Phil Spector should have been locked up for being involved.

No, but that would be a good torture device.

Wow, when you hear stuff like that it’s easy to understand why the Beatles broke through so big in 63.

I imagine that this song has lots of meanings – and as with any great work of art there are many and varied interpretations of them.

Yes….. I love TLAWR. I can’t give you the context but it brought a tear to my eye once……..It’s the only Beatles’ song that ever has.
So a special place in my heart for this song……..But I always liked it melodically and lyrically and along with, ‘I Me Mine ‘ it’s my favourite on Let it Be. I’m happy to defend this little gem……..I think Paul’s quite proud of it.
Now as for toasters………I have the original special effects toaster used in the film ‘Billy Eliot’……It has a remote device to trigger the car-springs embedded into the mechanism that launch the toast a couple of feet into the air as Billy dances round the kitchen.
I bought it in a charity auction around the time when the film had just come out, but don’t know what to do with it……..
When Elton John got married and knowing he is fond of the film and wrote the music for the stage play I thought a toaster would make a perfect present for a man who has everything. Something Cilla or George Michael might taken along to his wedding reception……But never got round to it.

Usually, I just interpret the meaning to “I Am The Walrus ” to my 6th grade English and Science classes. Random, just waiting for peace (and actually learning stuff!), and people going nuts and actually knowing at some point what is even going on
Man, I think WAY too in-depth to things sometimes…

I like the basic track of the released ‘The Long And Winding Road ‘, after that tho i dont care for the others. And by multiple versions i was thinking more of the ‘Get Back ‘ sessions when Paul would have played thru the song for eternity if he could have done – even the greatest fans of ‘TLAWR’ would be looking for the nearest electric cattle prod after 30 minutes of that.

At least there is an evolution And development with SFF so your hearing significant changes. With TLAWR it’s gruelling going thru the monotony of the 47 billion run thru’s and takes as Paul worked to perfect it.
