That list does build you up to where you want to explode all over the place when EDAW comes on. Did you hear some Paul or Ringo that you hadn’t heard before?
I hadn’t heard any of it before.
As I may have said elsewhere, I’m not super-keen on their solo stuff… I take George’s lines ‘Have my love: use it while it does you good… If there’s good to be shown you may make it all your own, and if you want to quit that’s fine’ from Cloud Nine as my motto.
And I generally explode when I hear EDAW come on… it does have that !!!!!!!! effect on me.

A whole mighty two tracks into ‘Living In The Alternate World‘, rough mixes and outtakes of tracks from ‘Living In Material World’.
‘Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)’ is a weird listening experience without George’s slide guitar as your brain keeps trying to put it back in, tho the piano is gorgeous.
‘Sue Me, Sue You Blues’ is such a funky instrumental track when all the vocals are removed.
Not heard any of these before so will be fun and interesting to hear the remaining tracks. New(ish) George material.

I found a YouTube of it, very nice drawing of George there.
Less weird for me as I frequently play it on acoustic guitar and I can’t slide and strum at the same time.
What’s weird is that the whole thing’s in a slightly lower key– E instead of F.
And as I’m listening to it right now, technically, this post is on topic.
EDIT: I checked again, and it isn’t technically in a different key: just slightly lower, but not enough to constitute being in a different key.

The Beatles’ demo of ‘Sour Milk Sea’. I George’s falsetto. Paul’s falsetto is quite strong and even, and John’s is cooooool in a rocker way, while George’s… well, it’s something else. Sort of more wailing than singing, and I dig it.
Also, the YouTube I found has some FAB photos which my fellow Fiendish Thingies might appreciate…

Earlier today I discovered a load of instrumental mixes of albums in an audio library I have access to (don’t ask me to share). No Beatles unfortunately, but I’ve been feasting on The Supremes, Flaming Lips, Arctic Monkeys, St Vincent, LCD Soundsystem etc. These are the actual backing tracks without vocals added, which music radio stations sometimes play underneath speech segments. I assume they get sent out by the labels because they’re not commercially available.
It’s really interesting to hear how basic and unvaried a lot of them sound, and made me realise how much a song can be brought to life by vocals. Uptown Funk is a great example – there’s very little happening if you strip away the singing. Some of them are revelatory though – loads of tiny noises I’d never noticed before.

^ I LOVE instrumental backings without vocals. I suppose it’s sort of a side effect of having been raised on instrumental music.
EDIT: As for what I’m listening to… it’s by a band. Yes. I think you know which one. And the album cover has a street on it.

Ha, nope. The album title is two words, starts with A and R. And the band name starts with a B and ends in S, and oh yeah, this whole website is about them…

Are you sure it’s not The Abbey Road E.P. by the Red Hot Chili Peppers?
