R.E.M. Lots and lots of R.E.M.

I love R.E.M. I spent almost 10 years to get the IRS records (maybe the best part of their career), because nobody cared to import them here…

This is the first time I hear Neil Young. Great songs!

Another Convert, Yes!!!!

Ohio, still the aforementioned Mr. Young.

Yeah, but I think his voice fits electric songs better.

Really? I love his voice in the quieter songs. His voice in Helpless is just heartbreaking sometimes, really beautiful. Heart of Gold? Old Man? Sugar Mountain? Jeez, I love him. He is on my list of being a personification of the word “cool.”

I don't really like his voice, it's too thin. I don't like Bob Dylan's either.

IMO, the best Young's songs are “Down by the river”, “Cinnamon Girl” and “Cowgirl in the Sand”; those guitars and chorus are sweet.

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

I love Dylan's sentimental voice, like on Don't Think Twice, It's Alright and Girl From the North Country. I like all of his voices, but that one is my favorite.

But I'm listening to Hit It and Quit It by Funkadelic.

The Moment- Kenny G

I blame it all on what comes on after SNL once it's over. Which tonight was a paid programing for an easy 80's cd collection and it included that Kenny G song that was in the superbowl commercial. So now I'm just trying to find out what the name of that song is. And I don't think it's this one.

The Complete Lost Lennon Tapes, via Pirate Bay. I can't believe I'd never heard this stuff before. It's like having another John Lennon Anthology box set.

Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon
Or buy my paperback/ebook! Riding So High – The Beatles and Drugs

Don't miss The Bowie Bible – now live!

They're a hornet's nest! I dip in and out occasionally but I don't think I'll ever get through the lot and remember it.  I have 22 discs of the stuff!!!

Seriously, Japanese psychedelic rock? That's pretty awesome.george-martin

I'm not listening to anything that far out, I'm listening to Django Reinhardt and his crackly old jazz guitar.

Yurayura Teikoku (band): Yurayura Teikoku de kangaechuu (song).yoko-ono-01

And this pedals video:

Yurayura Teikoku: Tsumetai Gift:

And beware: This is seriously dangerous stuff:

Yurayura Teikoku: Rame no Pantaron

And by the way: Django Reinhardt kick ass, man!

The Chain- Florence + The Machine (Fleetwood Mac cover)

I absolutely love her voice. I'm a new fan of hers. A slow growing fan but a fan.

*song change* that happens a lot to me on this thread

The Cave- Mumford & Sons

BRAND NEW FAN as of that performance with the Avett Brothers and Bob Dylan.

*9* The universe is a fan too.

Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Were you influenced by the Grammy Awards Show last night? 🙂

I love Florence + The Machine — a good friend recommended them, they were $4 to download on Amazon, 'nuff said.

Mumford and Sons was also on there. They seem pretty good, and I've heard lots of people like them, but I'll have to listen to them more before I make any decisions, I think.

I'm not listening to anything at the moment — I thought I was going to have a dog show in the background and it turned out to be WWE Wrestling instead. a-hard-days-night-ringo-14
