A little lullaby before bed.
I know, such meaningful lyrics, but it’s a really pretty song. Love the waltz tempo and the wordless singing bits. Also dig Linda’s high falsetto harmony on the second refrain.

@Sugarplum fairy I really liked that! Those chords are so haunting. It’s beautiful.
@Beatlebug And the album version is great, too. Thanks for posting that

I promised @Mr Kite I would do that little bit of acoustic guitar at the beginning of Happiness Is A Warm Gun for the Beatles Bible Band, you know, when John sings – ‘She’s not a girl who misses much’… But after that, I’m on this

Yes, I’m double-posting. I’m bringing her back on topic…
I just gave this a listen today, for the first time, since it’s the song of the day today.
Then I listened to this and got spooked. How like George he sounds! It’s ouncanny.

Screamin’-rocker Paul at his finest here. And this is the same Paul who sang “Yesterday “.

I hardly ever listen to anything pre-Rubber Soul because I don’t think I like it. Thanks for reminding me how good they were! Paul had a great rock voice. Even the unloved Why Don’t We Do It In The Road? demonstrates the same. Not to mention Oh Darling..

Ooooh, @Necko, that’s lovely! Wonderfully rich in Harrisonics. It makes me want to steal the chords.
Isn’t It A Pity they didn’t record it?
I found this in related vids for “I’m Down “:
