Helping my father sort out his books, well i say books but its more three libraries as they fill (wall to wall, floor to ceiling) three rooms, spilling into a four. Many of the books are incredible, many go back hundreds of years and would have historians oohing and ahhing. There are also tons of 19th Century maps and letters. Its like having your own history archives.
That’s soooo cool…

I’m have this picture in my mind of @Oudis salivating while writing that last post.
I’m listening to my mp3 player on “songs” in alphabetical order. All that is on this mp3 player is Beatles – group and solo. After several “Glass Onions” I’m now getting Glory of Love from Paul’s Kisses On The Bottom album.

Evita? Was Jimmy Nail in Evita with Madonna or something?
He was indeed – played his part quite well. He only had about 10-15 minutes of screen time but made quite an impression.

So the link to listening for this thread is imagining the oohs and aahs?
I have a late 19th century Britannica set which is really nice.

I posted in the wrong thread and its now all tangled. Apologies for that.
I thought I would just add to the tangle before Ms. AG decided to come along and un-tangle

She’ll probably still try to undo the knots. Expect a PM in a few hours detailing her planned course of action for fixing the thread.

Nah, let’s just lock this thread, the what are you reading these days? thread, the what are you watching thread, and perhaps a few others and just have a super-mega thread with the title “How are you entertaining yourself at the moment?”
On second thought, that might NOT be a good idea. I’ll just leave this small little tangle in place.

Please don’t lock the threads that make this forum interesting. I’d rather know what other members are reading and listening to and not to know Pattie Boyd’s shoes’ size.

That was all a joke on my part. I would never think of locking this thread. No worries. I’m glad you all like it so much.
I just finished listening to Paul’s Run Devil Run album.

LOL at the idea of @Ahhh Girl going all mod-Nazi-dictator and locking the board’s 2nd most popular thread (proven by SCIENCE)!
I’m listening to Beethoven’s 4th piano sonata.

Checking in after being too busy for any of my favorite forums lately. Been on a Hank Williams kick lately (Sr. and III specifically). Currently listening to a playlist of his tracks that he recorded in my hometown, Cincinnati (including his first #1 hit. Take that, Nashville!)
