Offline Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb. Nothing to do with the tooth abscess I currently have. Although numb would have been a pleasure let me tell you. In fact, a couple of nights ago dead would have been a pleasure it got so bad! Oh and Brit band Divine Comedy’s 90’s song Tonight We Fly. It always reminds me of a flying dream I had as a kid. Straight out of my second floor bedroom window, and a good long cruise round the local neighbourhood at 100 feet . And no drugs involved, honest!

Offline Just finished the last episode of Serial.
The whole story makes me almost weepy – for Hae, for the possibility of Adnan serving time for a crime he may not have committed. It makes me frustrated that the investigators didn’t give due diligence. I hope there’s closure in the DNA tests.

As AG says – super album. I have loved this since the day it was released, from the cover, to the interior art by Klaus, though the songs with Ringo and his amazing band of collaborators.

Offline As a few people mentioned after the various copies of my post circulating about, it all started when someone new on some other thread (sorry I’m awful with details) asked how to attack the post-Beatles (and other non-Beatles work before they broke up) compendium of work. So I got myself all (most of) the solo albums, but I didn’t take my own advice and listen to them in chronological order. Some are downright quirky.
And no, Ringo didn’t chase Cayenne out of my head…a day and a half later I relented and just listened to it.
