^ So much for that theoryThe Fairy Story was about all Brian managed while over there and apparently he was almost in a trance the whole time he worked on it.
I have that album on vinyl. The bonus EP with the Fairy Tale was missing when I bought it. As far as I’m concerned, that’s an improvement to the album.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

Could well be. There is around 1 minute of nice music and vocals amongst the drivel, but it is hard going waiting for those snippets.

An odd step back after Holland three years previous; sad that this 1976 effort was the first of their albums to make the top 10 in the USA in 10 years – a mix of covers and some (fairly decent) new songs. They also had their first top 10 single in the USA in 10 years or so with their cover of Rock And Roll Music . It’s interesting to listen to it along with the Beatles version. Apart from the odd bump along the way this seems to have been the start of a pretty steady decline.

Watching the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie from 1990 with my Turtle-obsessed son (and if you would have told me in 1990 that I’d a.) have a son, and b.) that he’d be watching this movie, I would have looked at you like you were high) and he’s dancing to this song at the end credits:

I loved T.U.R.T.L.E P.O.W.E.R., we had it as a 45″ and played it frequently. Still is a great song.
Veryy good taste you’re handing down to your son @WETSRoosa.

@meanmistermustard I didn’t think he’d like the movie, considering it’s not cartoon-y enough, plus God bless it the movie’s so outdated, but he loves it. He even liked the second one, Secret of the Ooze. We haven’t gotten to the third one yet, and considering how bad I’ve heard it is, maybe it’s for the better. He also liked the re-booted TMNT movie from this summer, which has a LOT of callbacks to the old series and movie trilogy.
Fun fact: Corey Feldman voiced Donatello in the first movie. Corey was in The Goonies. His former Goonies co-star, Sean Astin, is now the voice of Donatello in the current cartoon series.
